Monkey Wears the Monkey!

At Cal Shakes we have a monkey named "Bongo" as our mascot. He wears the same safety harness (made by yours truly) that the working "monkeys" (electricians) do. So here I am, wearing the safety harness while wearing the monkey wearing the harness.

Today I'm wearing the harness 'cause I had to go up to the moving lights we have (story for another post) and do a visual inspection of all the moving parts. This requires me to hang off the front of the catwalk at 35 feet up to get to all part of the unit. Even my boss, the Production Manager, who got me into this side of the business full-time, is agog at my dering-do (and proud too).
