Night of the Iguana

As promised, here's a picture of Linda Hamilton in "Night of the Iguana". This is one show I'm very proud to be a part of.

This is the Electrics Crew as of mid-August. Pictured in top row is my assistant Cartland, and intern Jonathan. Next to me is intern Joel, and my new intern Sam. We're sitting on the set of Iguana.
Here we all are on the set, admiring our work.
Here's Jeff Davis, the Lighting Designer of Iguana, and I at the opening night party.
And here is his Assistant, Brian (the other half of the "Bad Idea Bears" pairing as they call themselves-Ave Q reference). It's been way too much fun working and drinking with these guys. Luckily they do come into NYC often to see Broadway shows so I'm sure we'll hook up again.
Here's Jeff Davis, designer of "Iguana" at work focusing a light.

With every Mainstage show opening, we have a blast of a party to celebrate. This theme was "Night at the Cantina" in honor of "Night of the Iguana". Here is General Manager Pete Durgin acknowledging his likeness in paint for the party.

I've been able to find time to go say hi to Brian again at Jacob's Pillow as well as see Trey McIntyre Project - a wonderful, summer only dance group that performs vibrant and exciting pieces choreographed by their namesake. It was much fun to watch and even more fun to disect the lighting howto afterward. Here I'm sitting on the famous "Jacob's Pillow" rock that is the place's namesake.

Only 3 weeks left for me here. I'm in process of training my assistant on how to be Master Electrician here and juggle a number of shows at once. With practice, I'm sure he'll do better than me in a few seasons. And I start saying goodbye to my interns one by one.
More pics to come!
