Water, water everywhere . . .

but not a drop to drink.

It's been POURing rain for the past 12 hours, along with thunder and lighting at times. But we have no water at home because the town of Lee is in process of repairing the primary water main all the way over by Laurel Lake. Luckily we still have water from the last time the water main broke but seeing all the water outside just enforces the irony.

I'm still glad that we're not living at Lavan, the dorm housing owned and maintained by Berkshire Theatre Festival. They've been plagued by water troubles all season long. I only find out about the troubles when my crew comes into work looking pretty scruffy. It's now policy that when the water goes out at Lavan, the residents are allowed to use the shower facilities at the theaters. Early on in the season, the water troubles were bad, and couple that with a cold streak in a dorm building with no heat, and the theater just gave up for two days and put the residents up at the Red Lion Inn. I just have to shake my head at the whole thing.

Hooray, water's back! Now back to enjoying my latest Netflix "The Producers" the musical.
Keep me laughing, so I won't cry.
