Traveling with baby

Baby Nicholas is now 3 weeks old (gasp!) and weighs 8 lbs 9 ozs. Nicholas is still learning how to feed properly at the breast, so lately we've been supplementing the breastmilk with formula and feeding him every 2 hours and he's growing fast. Jamie and I are trading feeding times so we each get some sleep.

Since Nick was born, we've taken short trips out of the house to avoid going stir-crazy:
day 5 was a walk to the bookstore,
day 6 was first car ride to the pediatrician,
day 7 was a tour of Yale in his stroller and a meal at a restaurant,
day 9 was newborn portraits at Sears,
day 10 was a visit to the beach,
day 11 was touring Mark Twain house while being fed,
day 14 was a leaf peeping trip to the Berkshires and Red Lion Inn in MA,
day 15 was meeting 3 month old playmate Maggie on the changing pads,
day 16 was a trip to the pumpkin patch at Lyman Orchards.
We've also been to Babies R Us several times (find us in the Mother's room). Nick travels very well, once he gets over being restrained in the carseat, and he often falls asleep on the journey. But when his straps are freed, he takes a good long stretch.

You can see pics of Nick on my Facebook photo album: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2101163&l=23f83&id=315473
