Quick update on holiday fun

Tonight was the Yale Drama dinner, and ho boy was it good! I had terducken for the first time and one of the birds was spicy for a nice kick. Along with that was great gravy and really yummy garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Dessert was pineapple sponge cake, still warm. All around well done.

Our last thing on our holiday to do list was make a gingerbread house, so we did that tonight. Sheba, the cat, had fun chasing the dropped candy all over the room. The house is not fancy, but it'll be quite fun to gobble up!

The house is now next to our prettily decorated 7-foot tree with it's twinkly lights. It's looking a lot like Christmas around here, but without the snow still.

I can't wait to come back to California. Only 2 days til our flight!
