Final week in Bay Area
The plane tickets have been purchased. Jamie, Sheba (the cat) and I will be leaving SFO on a jet plane Tuesday morning, October 4. (Yikes, this deadline is now all too real. And how did I get all this stuff?)
Jamie changed his mind on the idea of driving cross-country when he learned there are looong stretches of road with nothing and you could drive 95 MPH 'cause the cops pass you driving 110 MPH.
We now have 1 week to clear out the apartment and pack it all to storage or shipping and get the car shipped. We could use some bodies to help pack the shipping crate over the weekend. Call me if you're available.
Regarding going-away party, I can't have it at my place as it will be empty. I'm considering Beckett's or Jupiter's on Sunday or Monday night. Any opinions?
